I think it was made sometime in 2013.

It has a green gloss weave top, with plain black back-n-sides in a kind of knobbly finish with no weave showing through.

It plays and sounds EXACTLY like my 2017, bass-side-pointy-bridge, all gloss red weave X7 Artisan.

Oh yeah, another one for you Emerald historians, the top weaves on these two guitars run in opposite diagonals .

The top weave on my X7 and X20 run in opposite diagonals too.
The build on my X7 was started in 2016 and completed late summer 2016.
The build on my X20 started fall of 2016 completed Jan 2017, but I consider it a 2016 X20.

I never noticed stuff like this (too busy not noticing it seems... but would have noticed eventually .. no ..really) ....I might just have various Emeralds around here somewhere ... I'll peep them out.

My 2017 X20 Opus has it on the Trebble side?

I wonder if there is a difference between Opus and Artisan

Thanks for the pics! The two variations look cool together.

Hmm, mine wasn't called either. The specs are mostly what is now called Artisan specs, but 2012 was before those features were adopted for the Artisan. For example, Grover tuners were standard at the time, and I asked for Gotoh 510.
