Unfortunately I wouldn't be able to move the capo fast enough to do it in the course of a song. But, it COULD be possible to loosen the capo in the course of a song... something I'll have to experiment with haha

I have mentioned the idea of an extended bass to Joel before. But it was his design and choice to incorporate it into this build. Joel knows me well enough and I trust him enough for him to pull off such stunts without my approval I haven't yet had the chance to experiment with the contraption due to my injury but I can only imagine the possibilities it presents.

Default Passionflower cover - Jon Gomm

Hey guys, sorry to revive such an old thread but Joel and I have just recently produced a new video featuring this very guitar! It is a cover of Jon Gomm's masterpiece - "Passionflower". I'm not much of a singer but I just could not resist doing a cover of this song with the mid-song banjo tuning changes

Oh and if it wasn't obvious enough, the audio and video were recorded separately like an MV

Marcus,

Can’t hear anything wrong with your vocals, and your playing only seems to get better ... thanks for sharing.

Hi Marcus,

I'm very impressed. Even though I have to admit that I'm more a traditionalist when it comes to acoustic music, your playing is amazing, and the voice fits in perfectly. Tons of talent here (same goes for the builder, Joel Michaud). Thanks for sharing!

Cheers
