Fender Custom Shop Stratocaster I got around 2000, the year. The price back then was around $1200-$1400, I believe. The V neck on that guitar changed my life, and I mean literally changed my life. I could play so many more hours because of that neck. I moved to Austin, TX for awhile because of that guitar. I met new friends because of that guitar. And my ears now constantly ring because of that guitar. Haha.

Very easy for me based on best guitar for the money. My 1959 Guild archtop. Given to me four or five years ago by a buddy who had had it since the mid 60's. Doesn't get better than free.

Default Maybe even my BEST sounding/playing guitar...

My Tacoma EAR51-C small jumbo. Picked it up as the only bidder on eBay several years ago for $699. Originally $2500 new, it has beautiful solid Adirondack Spruce, solid East Indian Rosewood back and sides, with lovely Koa neck and body binding. Just a knockout of a guitar. Plays like an elegant dream. She has some small nicks and scrapes and the usual tiny spots of de-lamination that are common on Tacoma glossy guitars, but I would never, ever consider letting it go.
I have several other Tacoma solid wood parlors which were also very reasonably priced as used guitars that I play a lot.

JHS Vintage V300 Mahogany. Would stand mine against guitars 10 times the price and more.
