Default Case for Loar LO-16 in Australia

Hey Folks,

I've had a Loar LO-16 since the start of the year and am enjoying it immensely! Unfortunately, I didn't grab it with a case. I've spent a couple weeks trying to track down the Guardian hard case that fits, but have been told by shops and the Australian distributor that they're out of stock and won't get an order for another 3 months.

Do any LO-16 owners have suggestions on cases? Interested in both hard and soft cases, but would like a nice, tight fit. Also need to either be able to get it in Australia or shipped to Australia.

Thanks in advance!

Mal

I've only been playing for a bit over a year, so am far from an expert, but I think it's a brilliant little guitar. I got it because my hands were cramping often after playing my dad's maton dreadnought.

I find that basically everything about it - body size, neck thickness, nut width, short scale, etc - just fits together for a comfy, capable and enjoyable package. Imo it sounds great both finger picking and flat picking. Since getting it I probably play 2 or 3 times more.

Can't recommend it more highly!

Mal, is the Guardian brand case in question the CG-044-00 for 00 size guitars, or it is the CG-044-N for Small Body, Deep guitars?

I have asked around for a case that fits the LO-16 and have gotten conflicting information.

I believe they're the same case.

Since it's out of stock here in Australia, I'm gonna try to grab the Silver Creek Classical case jpd has suggested. From what I've read, the Silver Creek Classical is the same as the CG-044-C.

Cheers,

Mal

I put my LO 16SB inside the case made for my Taylor GC 6 and it is a perfect fit. Look for a Grand concert or 00 size case.
