FWI and FMI pins seller and sources
My have seen my post looking for pins in the classifieds.
Im based in Canada so its a bit of a hassle. looking for pins, but cant really seem to find sources online that will work out. Elderly and Maury's cant ship. Mr. Colosi is out of FWI. David Warther from guitarpartsandmore seems to be one source. Annoyingly, Colosi can ship FWI internationally, but not FMI. Mr. Warther can ship FMI but cnt ship FWI outside the US... Any other reputable sources Ive missed?

FWIW, as someone who has/had two very high end Martins that came with either FWI/FMI pins, and bought a few sets many years ago, I have never had a set of FWI/FMI pins that I though just better than good old bone.
I've spent up to $250 for a set of FI pins/end pin with a fancy inlay, no improvement in sound, they look great but are purely cosmetic. If you're going for looks there are beautiful FWI/FMI sets, and happy shopping, if you're going for tone, nothing beats bone............

OF course, Im aware that the material wont make much difference, if any. Just going for the aesthetics really. May have found a seller though...
