I think I will always be pretty happy with what I have now:

A Fender MIM Tele (mid 90s with the toploader bridge) and a 65 PRRI.

I have a few absolute requirements for a guitar that have been covered by a handful of Ibanez RG or S-series over the years. As a player that uses my volume control a lot while playing, placement is important and these guitars have it in the perfect location, in addition to having the Ibanez Floyd Licensed tremolo system, which is another necessity, regardless of style of music I'm playing at the time.

Ibanez JEM-FP and Friedman DS40 combo have me very satisfied right now.

I'm very happy with my (Narvik Blue) Dusenberg Paloma and Koch Jupiter amp.

G&L Tribute Bluesboy > BC112 Cab > MV50 AC

I can see either a MV50 Boutique or MV50 Clean > Hot Wax pedal in my future.

Surprised no one said Telecaster and Vox.

That’s what I currently play — my bang-for-buck Baja into my bang-for-buck Pathfinder 15R. Crazy that the combo was under a grand at retail pricing.

I really want a Princeton Reverb though! Maybe a Deluxe, but most likely the PRRI 65.

I own a ‘58 Tweed Deluxe and have a ‘65 Princeton Reverb loaned to me for a short while.

The Strat sounds outstanding with both. The SG and LP Jr sing through the Deluxe.

The lap steel roars through the Deluxe and sings like a bird with the Princeton.

However, when I had possession of an Ampeg Jet 12, it was like a PR on steroids.

My ideal sound is a Strat into a Fender amp. I’ve owned some Two Rock and Dr Z Amps over the years, and would be more than happy with either of those.

I’ve got my dream Strat thankfully, a limited run Thin Skin based on a ‘61. It’s fantastic, and I’ve had it about 6 years.

I don’t currently have an amp because I don’t play electric much at all. I’m considering getting a Boss Katana, but still think the money would be better spent on acoustics.

Any big headstock, maple fretboard MIM or USA Stratocaster with any Roland Jazz Chorus amp. They just seems to work well together.

Still have a '64 R-12A (2x7591 power tubes) top-panel/no 'verb Rocket that I bought brand-new, kept in near-mint condition, and placed in semi-retirement when I got my Bugera V22 in 2010 (still drag it out every so often for practice); grossly underrated/underpriced in the present market, BTW - one-third the price of a similar-era Princeton and bigger/cleaner/sweeter-sounding IME, more like a blackface Deluxe - good news for players looking for vintage visual/tonal mojo at a Working Joe/Jane's price...

I actually kind of did in post #6. Kinda.

Those Bajas and Pathfinders are very respected over at the Tele forum. High praise for both.

My ideal combination is all about versatility. My primary electric guitar is a Probett Rocket III which is sort of a cross pollination of a Strat, Tele and Les Paul. It has a humbucker on the bridge and P90's in the middle and neck with a five way switch and push-pull switches on the tone and volume knobs so I can split the humbucker or add the neck P90 to the bridge. For an amp I run a Victoria Regal II which is self-biasing with two transformers so I can switch out tube easily, giving an almost endless variety of tones and power ranging from 5 to 35 watts.
