Default When You Wish Upon a Star - Fingerstyle

This is an arrangement I did for an AGF group project a few years back, but I never got around to making a video, until last night. Guitar is a Tom Doerr Legacy Select, in DADGAD tuning, key of C.

Very nice indeed! I'm gonna have to listen again with real speakers, the bottom two strings get lost on this phone, but the rest sound awesome!

Just wonderful, Doug, on all levels. Such a tasteful arrangement and playing. I'm also really impressed by the lighting in your video - it seems so hard to get that right. Great job and thanks for sharing with us!

Thanks everyone.

Larry, the lights I'm using are fairly new (for me), Neewer LED panels, with adjustable levels and color temperature. Still getting the hang of them, but I think they're working better than my old umbrella lights. Nice and small (and cheap) too. I also recently learned here on AGF about the X-Rite color checker. Also still in learning mode on that, but it's helping me dial in the color and lighting better.

Wow, Doug!

That was outstanding on so many different levels! Beautiful video all around: delightful arrangement full of unexpected voicings, wonderfully clean playing, great job on the recording and the lighting!

I watched it three times, Doug! Wow! that was good!

I too liked that very much, great voicings and so clean. It would take me a hundred years to play something that cleanly.

Very smooth and played with a lot of feeling. Soulful. I liked the recording a lot and agree the lighting was excellent. Good production all around.
