Ravel's Bolero for solo guitar
This has become a very common one to hear on the classical radio stations over the years but it still retains a Moorish ethereal quality which is pleasing to my ears, and I think that aspect of it can be captured on guitar.
Or do you think it's too grandiose for one guitar? |

Really nicely played and you pulled it off with just one guitar. Good job. (and your version is way better than Jeff Beck's. I like Jeff but not his version of Bolero. Talk about "grandiose"....)

Great version. I think you captured the spirit of the piece on guitar.

Greetings!
I first became aware of this piece during the 1984 Olympics when a couple (Torvill and Dean) used it for their ice-dancing performance. I agree with your characterization of the music. I always thought of this piece as conveying something epic. So I very much appreciate your question. I think you manged to pull it off on one guitar. Good job, I enjoyed your playing.

One guitar sounds just fine on this.
