Default Guitar tuners in a compound bow?

Just had to post this, I’ve shot bow for years and never seen anything like this. I don’t know if it’s factory or if someone cobbled together a bow but the sixth picture shows what I’m talking about

Most unexpected.
Looking at other photos, it looks as if it is meant to adjust cable tension. I'm not convinced it is original equipment.
