Here are my 2.

I bought my '99 Tom Anderson Cajun Red Hollow Drop Top Classic new back in the day.

The '03 Tom A 6120 Tiger Eye Hollow T Drop Top, I was lucky enough to score in a pawnshop for $1200.

They're both VERY versatile guitars with A LOT of tonal options available .

I personally don't think one is better than the other, and I could live with either one if I had to let one go.

They're never going anywhere, so I won't have to worry about that.

Here's some pics.

Why not? I've had five Anderson electrics pass through my hands over the years, and I eventually landed on this Cobra T a few years back and it's been my only electric ever since. Mahogany body with maple cap, Gibson scale length, Tele body style, and like all Andersons a fantastic neck. Sounds great on everything. I haven't had a single urge to move it along for something else.

I still have and use the Crowdster shown (on a stand) in the second photo. The electric I'm playing in the second photo is the first Anderson I bought, and the only one I've let go that I've regretted: a Drop Top Classic, more of a super-strat style.

I have owned a couple. I still own a Crowdster ++ . It’s a very versatile guitar.

Paleolith you appear to have my Cobras long lost cousin ...

Here's my Cobra S semi hollow. And yes it has some lovely contours all around.

Love it. Between it, my Colling i30lc, and all the constant new feature firmware updates on my Fractal stuff I have had essentially zero electric GAS.

I do miss the trem, but have adjusted to not having it. Those Cobra S models are darn near perfect, IMO.

I had and sold (sort of, UPS lost it) a classic T.
They are sweet guitars. The best feeling electric I’ve held.
I should have kept it.

I know this thread is four years old, but I just have to say-

The best feeling guitar I ever played in my life, up to and including today, was a TomAnderson T-type I passed on not realizing how unique it was at the time.

Funny I'm not a big trem user so that is the only thing I would not have chosen if I had ordered this guitar. Although I much prefer the vintage trem on this one vs my Floyd that I had on my previous main electric as I can I at least bend on this one without having to adjust the other notes.

Love TA guitars, still have the same ones from page 1 of this thread.
I remember when no one around my area had ever heard of them…

I had one of his Strats and I could never get used to the "heavy" frets. At some point I'd like to check out a Tele with a smaller fret wire. Very nice guitars.

Yeah, Tom ships his with the trem decked. I left mine that way, never had any trouble with tuning on bends.
