thumbpick users?
any electric players here that use a thumbpick? I can't seem to hold a flatpick and play with my other two fingers.

Check out Nils Lofgren. He really goes to town with the thumb pick on electric, including some bell like harmonics.

Yep, (Herco or Dunlop plastic) but only when I Travis pick. (Metal fingerpicks also). My Martin acoustic mainly or my Samick Greg Bennett Royale semi.
I hybrid pick using a pick and two fingers but these days I prefer to use a pick only. (Just as quick and sound just as "country"). |

I use a thumb pick and three finger picks for most of my playing, electric and acoustic

I started out with a thumb pick and have used them for decades - electric or acoustic
