Class dismissed,
Thanks, Professor.

I was wondering about those scratches. It's an ugly pick from that perspective, but I'm sure liking it.

Dunlop's Jazztone 205 is a great budget pick if you like small and heavy.

Buffle, agreed. For $4 a throw (Bluegrassers) they're a heckuva a value. I used to play them a lot until I was stupid enough to enter the guitar pick business (JK -- I love it).

Those are the picks I'm switching from. I'm getting less pick noise from the Wegens picks, and the grip is just as good.

One never knows, of course. Six months from now I may "rediscover" theu Primetones. I do this periodically with the Fenders as well.

Buffle, sounds good. Whatever works, works.

At some point you might wanna try some of the less expensive casein picks out there. It's a wonderful material, and personal fave overall as a player.

Fender, Clayton and Jon Pearse all have models under $10 each, with the Pearse products IMHO being the best of the lot.

As someone who has playing genuine tortoise for forty years, casein really knocked me out when I first played it.

No one material is for everyone, but I've always loved experimenting.
