Default NUPD - Wampler Sovereign v2 distortion

I was looking for a distortion pedal to fill a void. I have a Big Muff which is quite fuzzy and a Boss Blues Driver for well, more bluesy tones. And I like but don’t love my Bassbreaker 15’s gain channels. So I grabbed this Sovereign (v2) pedal by Wampler used and I think it fits perfect. I didn’t want an over the top metal distortion. This thing is crazy versatile and doesn’t overpower your actual tone. Made very well also. It’s pretty fantastic.

In addition to the typical Volume, Gain and Tone controls a distortion may have, it has a Mid Contour control and a couple switches - a Modern/Vintage and a Gain/Boost. Really like the soft switch it has as well. No pop when activating. I think these easy to use controls would make it work really well with humbuckers and single coils equally well.
