Default Line 6 spider jam

I was at GC and heard a guy playing lead over the tracks on the line 6 spider jam. Iwas wondering if line 6 or someone else makes a smaller practice amp with the abilities to do what the jam does? I don't play out so I do not need that much amp. Just want to learn electric guitar leads. Thanks, mike

yep, Fender makes the G-Dec or something like that. Has background tracks. New Fender Mustang allows your ipod to be plugged in for play along.

Line 6 also do the JM4 looper pedal, which AFAIK does exactly the same as the Spider Jam amp but without the amp. Leaving you free to choose whatever practice amp you favour. That may or may not be better for you, but it's another way of doing it.

Cheers
