Anyway, it had a pretty good sound and played fine.
After spending just an hour or two with these, it's clear that the wide neck won't be an issue.
I bought a LaPatrie Etude back in 1997. "Etude" is French for "study" ... so, it's a student model. I understand your comment about the naming though. I'd like to try some of the higher end LaPatries to compare.

Taylor NS 34 Sitka Spruce/Sapele - 1 7/8 Nut (also has the 64 and 72 models)
