Default An Slovakian parlor in a Spanish monastery

Hello from Spain. my name is Manolo Rosa.
I want to share with you this video, it´s a nice visual work made by a friend of mine.
I play a composition of mine in a Dowina Bona Vida Merlot, an excellent and exquisite little guitar made in Slovakia. The tuning is DADGAD.
The piece it is called "En Tierra de Campos", an evocation of a Spanish region full of cereal fields and beautiful colors.
It is a live recording, with the acoustics of these ancient walls, in Santa Maria de Rioseco, Burgos.

Hi Manolo,

A beautiful and compelling piece played in an intriguing setting.
Great atmosphere in both.

I confess that I have never visited the northern part of Spain. but I love the little hill villages. Thank you for the music.

Default Greetings from New York...!!!

Hello Manolo,

That is a beautiful setting and a beautiful piece of music you composed.

I especially liked your performance, how you mix the notes and chords, and how you use space and pauses.

Great job!

Hello MikeB1.
I only know your city from the movies, but I think it must be one of the most fascinating places in the world
Thank you very much mate for your nice words.
This is a very open composition, with impro lines in the middle.

I really appreciate your comments on the performance.
I play guitar with a mix of classical technique and John Abercrombie´s finger style.
I love the space and the pauses, open time: the resonance of the acoustic guitar lives there. It is a direct influence of sakuhachi Japanese music and from the taksim of Turkish music: no pulse, resonance, pauses, space

Thank you very much again, Mike
All the best.
Manolo
