Forgotten Dreams (original)
Here's a rare "non-blues" tune of mine that I wrote years ago. I tweaked the arrangement a bit last night and recorded it today. Its played on my Gibson J-45. I was torn between using one of my other guitars for that "ringing out" tone or go for a more mellow sound. I went with mellow.

Very pleasant listening Barry! I've listened 3 times....a couple of the small passages sound like the beginning of a Paul Simon song! Nice!
Was this done on the Zoom in the "big"(bigger) room? Well done fred

I recorded it with the Zoom in my small computer room. I got lucky as the planets were aligned properly  . I didn't get much ambient room noise and I'm not sure why. I was surprised at the decent recording that I got, especially with my wife watching TV in the living room and my grandson watching tv in the spare bedroom across the hall from my computer room. I'm thinking about changing the tuning and transposing the song down a bit to see how I can get rid of the trebles a bit and fill it out more with more open bass notes. Its a good project to tinker around with and I might learn something in the process.
