STRINGS AND BEYOND ... Use the Black Friday coupon code BF10 for 10% off on the entire site. Just bought some Curt Mangan strings.

Hmm. Wasn't aware that Fender was into car parts.

Just ordered this from GC;

https://www.guitarcenter.com/Martin/...00000323404.gc

It was complicated. I first called about it on Wednesday, to have them match the MF coupon on it. I was told that they'd have the same coupon at GC today. They did but the guitar was on sale and the coupon didn't apply. We went round and round and round again, but finally got the deal done. I'll pick it up at GC on Long Island on Tuesday.

Good for you! The one in the pic looks like it’s got some serious bear claw, which I like.

Thank’s Roy. I like this shape. If I like this one as much as I hope, I’ll be able to sell two that it replaces. If not, I have 45 days to return it.

Looks like Charmed Life Picks is having a blem sale if anyone wants picks. I think I have too many already. Lol. Surely, there are some more sponsors with sales.

Thanks for the heads up, Kerbie. Gives me a chance to finally try one of these.

For a couple of years, I bought all my strings on Black Friday from GC who had D'Addario 10 packs for cheap. I guessed they realized we'd buy all our strings for the year this way, so last year there was no sale. I'm still working on my stash, but it's down to just a few packs now. I've been liking the Martin coated strings for a while now anyway, but I miss that particular deal.

Brick, same here. I keep looking every year, but I bet it's been almost five years since they've run that sale. I used to wait for it all year.

As a manufacturer, I can tell you that the vendor would likely only do that unless they were changing packaging in preparation for NAMM, or maybe changed the formulation slightly to one of their main lines.
