Also I go against the norm somewhat as it is billed as an excellent finger style instrument and no doubt it is, but I play flat pic and IMO it is superb for that as well.
Yeah -- I could never understand how a guitar would be designated as a fingerstyle instrument. If you play all over the neck, you need that balance and responsiveness in every position. I play some basic pattern picking stuff fingerstyle, but most of the time am chunking off swing chord lines or soloing, and evenness of tone and warmth and presence are all good.

Starting to love the look of the headstock, but man, those bridges are ugly.

Relatively few of the current Breedloves have the lightning bolt bridge.

I kind of dig it myself. I have one with the lightning bolt (some people say they look more like a moustache) and one with a rectangular bridge.

Surprised that no one has posted any sharp cutaway Breedloves... The sharp cutaway always completed the edgy look for me. Dont have a Breedlove anymore but I loved my C25crh even though I found the concert size a little small for me... Still a big fan

I am glad you were able to snatch it up. That is an amazing guitar. Absolutely stunning.

My second of Ted's stupid deals arrived today (I guess it's yesterday now for me). The deals truly are fantastic. I am about to post my NGD thread. I hope we can get one from you when you get that bad boy in your hands. Congrats on your purchase.

I have been intrigued by the C12 style. Obviously, the folks there in Bend figured out traditional shapes sell better to most of us hidebound, ultra-conservative guitarist types. So we don't see the shape represented too much in their current lineup.

I myself would have to feel I was a pretty hot player to have one of these. They just seem to imply speed and grace.

Nice! Does anyone know all the Calendar Series' models? I believe they did 12 per year over the course of several years.

Well of course one mans ugly is another's "thank god, not the tedious norm"

But the utility far exceeds any looks consideration.

this guitar made me want to be a better guitar player. It has a bright and well balanced tone, superb action, and it's just as pretty as can be.

it also gave me G.A.S. and I've since acquired two other acoustics and now want to get an electric.

to avoid a severe GAS attack, I would like to sell it, or swap it for an electric hollow body with dual humbuckers (old Gibson ES175, or some other 'warm and creamy' sounding model)

There's a classified listing for this.

cheerios!
