Default Is this sacrilege on the acoustic guitar forum?(new guitar)

Some people may see this as sacrilege on a forum for acoustic guitars but I know there are a few electric heathens out there.I am actually waiting for another acoustic which I will share with you all when it comes but in the mean time I have blown another wad of cash on this rather nice item.I have got rid of quite a few electrics and I wanted a good all rounder hence the guitar below which is a very nice Suhr Guthrie Govan.

Did you note there's an "Electrified" forum in place? No sacrilege possible.

WOW, WOW, WOW..........................did I say WOW!!!!!!!!!!! I want to play it!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now hopefully you have an equally wonderful amp to play it through?????????????????????

You CANNOT play that handmade guitar through some solid-state piece of #@&% amp!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DUDE, congrats and ENJOY (THAT should be easy enough)!!!

Tell us more when you two get to know each other better.

I've got two amps a tiny old washburn practice amp which isn't so great and a Cornford combo which is great.Unfortunately the one thing I don't posses is Guthrie Govans talent but hey I keep plugging away.

With that BEAUTIFUL guitar it has to all be fun!!! I sure wish you lived near me so we could play together!!!

Here is MY beautiful handmade electric:

Playing acoustic guitar alone can be GREAT...........Playing electric alone just lacks!!!

What pickups are on that guitar??? Can you split those double coils?

Rock On.............

Very beautiful finish. What kind of wood is it? To quote the punchline from a Cheech and Chong bit, "Ain't that a peach?"

Gorgeous - if owning one imbued the owner with Guthrie-like playing prowess, I'd buy one in a heartbeat!

That top is fantastic. Love the binding, too.

Really gorgeous. You're in the Electric folder, so definitely in the right spot to show off that beauty.

When you get a chance, run down some of the fine points for us - woods used [besides that lovely quilted maple]? contours? neck width? pickup makes / wiring? Drooling guitar nerds need to know

Congrats on a truly top of the line instrument.

Having owned a Suhr or two I can safely say that John's guitars are amazing.

Congrats - nice choice.
