Default Cornerstone Zion Build finished!

I have been posting on my build thread in the Custom Shop section since early last year but I know that not everyone "prowls" in that neighborhood so I just wanted to share the pics of the completed build here as well. (Quilted Sapele & Sinker Redwood Cornerstone Zion)

The guitar is currently being shipped to South Africa and I expect it to arrive next Thursday evening. Peter Marreiros has been absolutely fantastic to deal with and I can only provide the highest recommendation if you are planning on embarking on the rewarding custom build journey. Anyway, here are the pics I received today...enjoy

Amazing is right! I got to audition another of Peter's Zion guitars, and I can tell you that his workmanship on that one was just as impeccable. And the tone! It sounded even better than it looked!

Congratulations, you're going to be extremely happy with this one! I'm happy to recommend Peter and his guitars, and am proud to have him as an AGF Sponsor.

Hang that beauty on a padded wall hanger and just stare at it for a couple of days before you play it cause when you play it your ears will take over and your eyes might get jealous. Artwork that sings.

Congratulations and many happy years of playing!

Peter is a great luthier and that is one beauty of a guitar!

For those who may like a bit more insight into Peter's building techniques, I did an interview with him here: http://guitarbench.com/index.php/200...ier-interview/

Peter does amazing work. I love how the bevel, in very elegant fashion, tails off beyond the tail 'quadrant'. He has a great eye.
