Default Yairi WY1TS Cedar Rosewood Excellent

Up for sale is my outstanding Yairi WY1TS Cedar / Rosewood Folk cutaway, developed by K.Yairi and Bob Weir (Grateful Dead), and handmade in the K. Yairi factory in Japan. The AA grade solid cedar top with rosewood back and sides, very good bass, shimmering highs. Very adaptable, and perfect for recording and gigs.

Action is 2 mm at low 'E', 12th fret, and .5" at bridge. The 44mm nut with 1.5" string spacing at nut, and 2 1/4 spacing at saddle. It also has a 25" scale length and a performance neck. The WY1TS also has the well-known Yairi direct coupled bridge, FST2 bracing (a type of forward-shift), gold Gotoh sealed tuners, and the Alvarez-Yairi beige deluxe arch top case. This guitar is hand-built with the famous luthier-Yairi quality, and it performs beautifully with plenty of volume and depth for any venue.

Comes with a Baggs Element Stagepro - 3-band eq, tuner, volume and notch filter. The deep bass response, sustain, shimmering highs, and the three-band EQ provides easy adaptation to any PA system. In outstanding condition save for a very small capo ding on the lower bout (see pic), barely noticeable with camera, and a smaller one the camera couldn't pick up.

$1550 plus shipping from AGF members. Trades considered.

Serious inquiries only, please. Thanks for reading.
