I also saw him in that time frame. I was into other folks a lot more at the time, all I knew were the radio hits. So I didn't appreciate the show as much as I should have.

Here is the setlist from that show:

Late to the party here. First Petty song I’ve learned, courtesy of Mike Kelly who posts here sometimes. Here is his lesson from his YouTube channel which I highly recommend, thanks Mike!

Ahhh, yeah, the zeal of the recent convert! That sounded great Bob! It’s like you found your own groove and rode it. A little different than I’ve heard it, but I liked it a lot.

Thanks for the shout out, Bob! Wanted to watch your video, but Vimeo wanted money from me.

Hey Mike, that is strange. I haven’t used Vimeo in a long time but I don’t remember ever giving them any money

Here’s a version I made right after I saw your lesson. Not sure what I was thinking when I got dressed that day Thanks again!

I hadn't seen anyone post a version of this, "Southern Accents" solo acoustic: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xsbRbmp-yL4

Love this, guitar part is very Jerry-ish.

This song really impressed me when it came out--not your typical Petty tune.

Great job

Oh, gosh, thanks so much. I always thought it was a beautiful tune and a great album, my teenage years, lol.
