Fret buzz
Takamine GN51 BSB.
Been some fret buzz on the low E string since I changed the strings a couple months ago. I'm now noticing it on the lowest 4 strings. Does the buzz have to do with the split bridge thing in the pic? Last edited by zamboknee; 03-17-2019 at 05:10 PM. Reason: Accidentally published |

Could be the humidity is low enough to have dropped the action (a common thing to hear, and I've experienced it myself), and/or the strings differ from what you had on before, possessing a lower tension, which would allow the neck to back-bow a bit. The split saddle shouldn't be an issue.
