To the OP: I have an early Gibson L-00 Studio that came equipped with the Baggs Element VTC and I quite like it. IMHO, it is superior to the Fishman MX-T, which I needed to buy a Fishman Aura 16 to put in front of it to clean it up on another guitar.

I am using the Baggs with a Boss Acoustic Singer Live and it sounds great. With the Boss amp, you have the added advantage of the body rez feature, giving you even more control over your sound. While the LB Mini is a great amp, the Boss gives you a lot more.

Some have said that the Baggs pu was not initially seated properly in the bridge on their instruments. That was the case ith mine, but after pulling the saddle out and blowing the dust out of the bridge, all strings sounded equal. I hope all this helps.
