You got that right about the X30 depth - it is an enormous 5-3/4 inches deep. To put that in perspective, a Martin dread has a depth of 4-7/8 inches deep. Yet I think it is more comfortable than a dread as a result of all of the curves and bevels with the Emerald.

Yeah, my RainSong is a Jumbo, and the X30 is markedly deeper. But, as you said it feels so small!
