Great! It's really coming along nicely. I think mine is next, as soon as he finishes with yours. I can't wait to get mine started.
A couple of others tweaks for mine... Mine will have the 13th fret on the neck/body joint, and the scale will be slightly longer (at 630 mm). As a result, the X-brace on the top will be shifted forward by about 14 mm. Martin's forward-shifted braces apparently allow for a more freely-moving top, which adds more bass to the tone. I figure that will not be a bad thing for a guitar of this size.

Thank you. Sorry for the delay. I know you must be champing at the bit.
I'm intrigued by your decision to extend the scale length. I toyed with the idea but decided against it. Look forward to hearing how it sounds. Last edited by AG123; 04-03-2021 at 03:06 PM. |

No need to apologize for being "late." We're still on schedule given the timeline Lindsay gave me. [emoji846] Good things come to those who wait.
As for the scale length, the primary motivation was to match that of the guitars I already own. The shifting of the braces and the bridge is a side effect of the change in the scale length and the fret position.

All finished. It was left for a few days for the string tension to settle before having a final set-up (action and neck relief).
