FS: Hamer Monaco III - Lollar P90s, Bigsby
For sale: red Hamer Monaco III.
Red lacquer finish over hand-carved spruce top. Specs are here at the HamerGuitars.com website: http://www.hamerguitars.com/?fa=detail&mid=1441 The necks on these Monaco guitars are incredible - they call it their "vintage" carve and it is a great feeling, chunky-but-not-too-chunky Gibsonesque carve. The scale length is 25 1/2 inches. The tops start as a 5/8" thick piece of spruce that is hand-carved to shape. The body is semi-hollow mahogany w/ tone chambers on either side. Pickups are custom upgrades by Jason Lollar. http://www.lollarguitars.com/mm5/mer...de=P90-pickups Bigsby whammy bar maintains stable tuning. Includes original Hamer case. There is wear on the first 7 (or so) frets. Some pick scratches from previous exuberant owner. I am only selling this one because I have two Monacos - another III and a SuperPro. Asking $1400 including shipping in the continental U.S. from northern New Mexico. If you prefer to have stock Seymour Duncan P90s, I will consider swapping them with the pickups in my other III.
