Default Help with a D-18

I have been wanting one. I have played several and I found a nice one today. I live in a city that only has a GC and they have and have never had a D-18. I go to stores when out of town and work and look around. Its "new", but serial number dates to 2015. Sounds great, plays well, fantastic price.

Am I going to miss the search if I buy it tomorrow?

My wife even gave me the go ahead...

Easy for me to say but I would buy it at a fantastic price. If you have been wanting one for a while it will either scratch that itch and you can resell for not much loss, or you will have a lifetime guitar.

For what it's worth...a good price shipped to your door from one of our forum sponsors is $1860. Brand new...this year. Just so you know.

All that being said...if this one speaks to you then by all means buy it? Just wanted you to know what the sponsor pricing is. Best of luck whichever way you go!

Eric, grab the one that speaks to you. Even if some other retailer can offer you a better price, you already know this guitar suits you nicely.

Not all of them will. A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.

I am kinda glad that we don't have these prices in Canada or I would be in a lot of trouble..... cost always bursts my GAS bubble.

Then you've answered your own question. I understand the "trying before buying" and wish I had that option. So for me it's almost always been an online purchase unplayed. But thankfully there are liberal return policies.

I say go get it. A good D-18 is a treasure for a lifetime...enjoy!
