SOLD: LA Guitar Sales Martin Custom Shop 00-18S 12-Fret
Great 12-fret fingerstyle acoustic guitar purchased from LA Guitar Sales two years ago. Solid mahogany back and sides, a solid Sitka Spruce top and a mahogany neck with solid black ebony fingerboard. It has Martin's modified low oval neck profile without the Artist Taper, making for a bit wider string spacing at the bridge, perfect for finger style picking. The guitar is in perfect condition except for a small ding on the front of the lower bout which I wasn't able to capture in my photos. It comes with a hard case.
Action on the low E is 0.90 inch at the low E when holding down at the first fret. Serial number is 2250111 It has been modified by Steve Morrell with the addition of a passive Schatten HFN pickup which is very much like a K&K Pure Mini, but has better reviews. Looks to have a lot in common with my 0018vs (Martin Forum Guitar). Wonderful little guitar. While it’s a great fingerstyle guitar, I mostly play with a flatpick and love flatpickin my 00. Great for old time, Traditional, rags, and Celtic. Holds medium gauge and medium tension strings which I like too. Bet this 00 is going to a nice catch for someone.

I bought the 000-version of this guitar from LA Guitar sales the year prior. Everything about it is superlative, and I could never part with mine. Someone's going to get really lucky here.
