Default What is the origin of the shark inlays on the Rainsong fretboards?

Was wondering.....Why sharks?

Thanks for the info. I on the other hand am not as enthusiastic about the sharks. For me, a more classy look would be to match the abalone ring of the CO model with some abalone diamond fretboard marker inlays. Different strokes and all that.
