For your consideration. Also, you might want to call this shop, ask for Jim, the owner. They often have stuff like Santa Cruz high enders “in the back”.

Default STILL SEEKING Brazilian SANTA CRUZ 000 - CASH or 1936 Gibson trade bait

We have a 1936 Gibson L-5 that we could put in the deal for the right Santa Cruz. Will buy for all cash as well.

000 covers a pretty wide range in the big picture. I understand you want Brazilian, but now that others are suggesting alternative brands, which of these specs, exactly, are you seeking?

Nut & bridge measurements: :

Santa Cruz 000 12 fret - - preferably decked out with 42 or 45 inlay. Slotted head stock, Brazilian body with German top preferred, but Adirondack is ok. 1.75 nut or larger, big necks are a plus, 2.25 string spacing or larger.

I sold this one on the forum several years back. The only thing I have ever seen or heard about it was from the new owner. I doubt he would sell it.
You need to remember that SCGC is a custom guitar builder, and wants to be, with a production capability. I had this one custom built for me.
If you can't find one, they will build one for you.

TimL - thanks for the lead - I have actually heard from the owner of that guitar. It is a great instrument and sounds fantastic!! However, I am looking for one with standard body depth and the more mid-present voice of the traditional design. I have several custom SCGCs and may end up having one built - but would like to find one that is already in existence somewhere. My current collection includes a 1993, 1995, 1998, 3x 2009s and a couple others - three were built for me, the others were customs for other folks. here are some pics -

Thanks

Randy
