Default Zoom Q3HD with a Stick-on Wide Angle Lens

Hey Fran

Thanks for the info on Homebrewmusic on the ZQ3HD and the stick on wide angle lens. Great idea! The vignetting seemed to increase and decrease depending on how the lens was positioned. At one point in the video there was only a small trace in the corner.

Zoom is probably watching and will come out with a wide angle unit soon.....thanks to you!

Always appreciate your work and playing!

Thanks for the mention. Yes, during the demo I stuck the lens on without getting behind the camera and lining it up, so the vignetting was worse at that point. I haven't looked real hard, there might be better stick-on lenses out there.

Fran

I don't have a Q3HD but found this interesting. Anyone with this unit should check out the video. Scroll down to the page bottom.
