Really looking forward to reprising our Event Coordinator roles.

As far as Power Point man... I think folks enjoyed the Chouse presentation last year.
And those same people enjoyed the personal tour. This year there is a baby occupying that crib made by Grandpa McKnight.

Rodger and Kathy made videos I watch periodically. Seems most of us had darker and a bit more hair. What happened there? Something always comes up that we can make a memory of each McJam a teeny weeny different.

Neil, if you need a binding channel created do you prefer to watch Tim make one on a McKnight spec guitar? I kind of need to know soon so he has one to the stage of that being the next step. Discuss that with Tim and then you get back with me on that. If I tell Tim, he will forget. If you tell him I can push him to remember your answer.

Neil,

I'd be happy to set up and cut binding channels in one of your bodies but you would need to bring along one piece of binding and one piece of purfling. The end graft should also be glued in place prior to arriving. If you don't have a body prepped let me know and I can build a spec guitar and have it here on standby. Its about a 10-15 minute job to pencil in on the schedule although I could probably drag it out to 30 minutes for Rodger's scheduling timeline

I looked into the StewMac kits and it looks like the bindings are already installed.

I'll see what I can do Tim. I have plans to kick off a new build in earnest once the weather breaks (the shop is stuck at 30% RH) but you know how slow I am!

Thanks! I appreciate all events in 30 minute or 1 hour intervals... Exceptions are presentations from Mary or Adrianne. Those are 2 hour minimum.

Uh hum... Yeah, right. Like that will happen. I'll get the schedule plans made and you can schedule anything you wanna schedule, but that schedule where Mary's name might be printed will be silent .... crowd stomping feet, "Mary, Mary, Mary."

I'll be found on the patio swing eating Bon Bons and shaking my head no, no, no. I might be hiding in the house in a chat session with a newbie. Then I'll go eat Bon Bons.

(Shhhh ...Don't tell the Bon Bon company I've never has a Bon Bon in my life.)

It's official, I'm gonna make it . . or at least I booked my flights.

I told Mary that today I won "song of the week" from the John Lennon Songwriting Contest . . and she asked if I'd be willing to do an hour on songwriting. Of course I will . . . assuming anybody's interested.

My first CD comes out on all the streaming platforms on May 15. But you can hear 30-second clips (low quality) right now if you click on this link:

If you wanna hear the songs that I wrote, the album has been out for two weeks now.

Here's a directly link to Spotify (it seems to be the platform that's getting the most attention):

Good idea to share your tunes here. Rodger and I will have your class scheduled shortly.

Post #18 has an update of the McJam 2022 expected attendees.

If your name is missing from the list PLEASE contact Tim, Rodger or me and we will get that updated in the listing.

If you have not signed up and think north central Ohio is doable for you to hang around the McKnight Guitar shop contact Tim or me and let's see if we can make it happen. Some people attend both days. Some do not. Your choice! Typically our Friday is a slow easy day to get to know a few regulars. Saturday is a bit more inclusive.

Do feel free to contact any of the names on the list to ask questions. They can tell you facts of what to and not to expect from the McJam.

There is a limit to 50 attendees. Sign up required. Signing in on site is also required. Picture will be taken throughout the event. You will be seen.

C'mon and see what you haven't seen yet.

We are looking at the attendee list for the McJam 2022. Now is the time to let your favorite musician know they can join you for the McKnight guitar reunion of friends.

It's going to be nice to see everyone again. Come prepared to enjoy the different food from the food trucks, hear stories of McJams of the past, test your skill at the balsa airplane competition and see what is in store on the door prize table. We have a few newbies who plan to come. Only one or two are players so encourage them to sit in the jam circles. A few McJammers from back in the past plan return. We are looking forward to seeing them!

McJam shirts are available for purchase when you get here. Please place your order in advance so I can have it ready for you to slip on within minutes of sign in.

I'd love to do this some year, but it's smack dab in my busy gigging season. Enjoy!
