A perfect example that it's about finding the tool that brings out the music within you

In 1968 I bought a Harmony Sovereign Deluxe Jumbo H-1265 with the matching "batwing" pickguards. It played great back then and had an especially deep, resonant bass sound. When the pickguards came loose I took them off, and the sound got better. Last year I had it re-fretted for the first time, and it still plays great and sounds great. Best $88 guitar I've ever owned!

Harmony with an electric guitar pickup and what sounded like a rubber bridge. Pretty unique tone.

If thats an example of the sound ... and its great that someone is able to find a use for old guitars. I really like what Vintage Guitars does with the old dogs and giving them new life.

Based on what looks to be a wood trapeze tailpiece that guitar was built in 1945. I have been playing Harmonys since the early-1960s and today have a 1930s Supertone, a 1942 H165 Stella, 1956 H40, block letter logo Sovereign H1260, and a 1965 Silvertone 633.

My second guitar was a Harmony Souverain. Unfortunately, I had it hanging on the wall and a friend accidentally knocked down, damaging it beyond repair, or at least cost-effective repair.

Go onto the Austin Texas Craigslist , and look at parlor guitars . There is a guy there that is selling the old Harmonys and others . His photos looks like he has hundreds of them

Here she is with the same guitar, doing a beautiful sad song. It's about a girl's loss of her grandmother. Listen.

You can have your $75K collection of beauties, and enjoy playing them in sort of a rotation, or you can take something from a pawn shop, and write and perform something like this with it. Guitar and violin. And a voice. A great song from a great songwriter.

That was not Sebastian's guitar. He was not scheduled to perform but was called upon when they needed somebody to fill in and he happened to be hanging around backstage. The Harmony he played was borrowed from Tim Hardin.
