Default Rickenbacker 360-12 electric 12-string

https://www.acousticguitarforum.com/...d.php?t=662599

Some AGF members do not visit the Show & Tell section of the forum very often, so I thought I would mention my video of my Rickenbacker 360-12 electric 12-string at the link above used for the old Byrds song, "So You Want To Be a Rock and Roll Star."

The Rickenbacker 360-12 electric 12-string has its own unique sound, though I understand it's not going to appeal to everyone.

Great job, Glenn. You did justice to the song, The Byrds, and that wonderful Rickenbacker 12 string.

Thanks for posting.

You're a talented guy Glenn. I think you should try to tackle the Hugh Masekela part.

Yes, well I am no trumpeter!

I thought about using a keyboard and a sample of a trumpet but then I thought, who wants to watch that???!!!

Way to rock it Glenn, fantastic all the way around! Loved the actual doubled harmonies!

Years ago I had a Rickenbacker 366 which had a special attachment to play it 12 or 6 string

it was great sounding and your video brought back memories of that guitar for me

Thanks for checking the video out, Daniel! Interesting about your old Rickenbacker. I had not heard of the model 366.

I hope all is well for you!

That was awesome! Very nicely done!!

I used to have one of the Roger Mcguinn signature models but couldn’t do it justice like you did.

Glenn,
I’ve always liked that song and your cover is top notch!

Along with listening to your works, I always pay attention to your guitars! The tone and visual aspects of them always appeal to my eye!

That Rick, the Bass guitar, that beautiful blue strat, and the host of acoustic guitars you’ve used, are eye candy at it’s finest!

Be well Glenn!

Wow, that would be very cool to have the Roger McGuinn signature model!

I'm very pleased that you thought my cover came out okay!

Thank you!

Hi Bill!

Thank you!

It's true that HD video helps bring out the good looks of a pretty guitar! I have been very fortunate to have obtained some very nice guitars over the 60 years I have been playing.

Enjoy the new year, Bill!

Back in November '09 I had David Bowie's former 366/12 at my home for the weekend.
