Another update! The Scarlett works like I hoped…..
A few dollars later and I went from the mixer (usb out) direct to Ipad. Works the same….I sure hope I have not spilled a secret in the recording world. This is how we get extra gear.
Might be time for a garage sale!

I think for most of us, the extra gear came from inching our way up the quality ladder. In twenty years, I've re-invented my system a bunch of times, selling off the less expensive gear for newer, and usually more expensive, gear that has caught my eye. Those baby steps will cost ya.
