Hi Carey,
I saw that you had posted those some days ago, but I only now got to check these out in their entirety. Thanks so much (again) for posting this kind of material. It's really excellent. Söllscher is such a great player, with superb tone and musicianship. And the clip of the Weiss piece is amazing from a close-up and resolution point of view. It's like he's sitting right in front of me. Thanks again for posting these. I always look forward to them.

You are very welcome, Andre. I really enjoyed the interview myself, and
think he has a special way with that Ciacona, though I won't try to put in into words beyond that. No kidding about being "right there", either..

To keep that full sound on the treble strings while his thumb is occupied far away is quite
a nice job. I also like the way he sets the rhythm and unobtrusively holds it.
