Default Everybody's Talkin' Cover

Hi there

I little cover on a little guitar. I've always loved this song, it's come to mean a lot these past months. Hope you enjoy.

Nicely done. I love the way you haven't tried to copy the original exactly in your playing or vocals, but have kept this great song still so instantly recognisable. Well done.

What he said! I really like your playing style and the way you present a song. I bet you’d cover Cat Stevens real well.

Cheers Tom! Cool, that reminds me I should definitely listen to more Cat Stevens - I'll get on it

That was very good. I watched another video you put up, and have a question. Do you use your index finger at all in your picking patterns?

If not, you may want to consider using a flatpick as your thumb/index with the added benefit of being able to throw in single note runs, ect, with your mechanics. It will take a some work, but in the long run will be worth the effort.

Cheers! And I don’t - I often use it to strum down when needed, but otherwise it just stays out of the way. I started off with a flat pick and middle/ring finger combo but transitioned to a thumb pick around 10 yrs back. Much preferred the extra freedom I felt with it
