Well done Wrighty!

I always enjoy this piece no matter the arrangement! This was very nice! Lovely playing and very enjoyable recording! I can hear that this is a challenging arrangement but you did a first rate job on this!

Nice job with that, Wrighty. It has a lot of twists and turns to it, not an easy one.

Well done! I learned that years ago (not as well as you) and have forgotten how to play it. But have never forgotten it. Nice to hear it again.

Back then, I contacted a couple Gaelic scholars teaching at universities, one in Ireland and one in Scotland, to ask them about the meaning and pronunciation. If I remember, meaning: "Little Fairy Hill, Big Fairy Hill." Pronunciation: "She Vug, She Wore" - which of course is how no one pronounces it. But we don't speak Gaelic, most of us. The two agreed, though, on both pronunciation and meaning.

Any Gaelic speakers, please correct me.

Thanks - unfortunately I forget most of the pieces I learn once they are recorded.

Very interesting re the meaning and pronunciation - I have seen it spelled so many ways..

I’m just starting to play Celtic tunes in DADGAD and the like. This really inspires me! Love the tone you’re getting from that Webber.

Thanks very much - glad you are enjoying some DADGAD tunes, there’s a lot of fun to be had in that tuning!
