Default Custom X10 on the way

My new Amara Ebony custom X10 is on its way! It's the first guitar in the new weekly shipping video. It's beautiful! Can't wait to play it. I ordered 1 7/8" nut and an Anthem pick up. I'll mostly be playing fingerstyle on it. I was blown away when I saw it on the video...

It is beautiful! It's also Alistair's favorite size--mine also. Great choice of veneer and I particularly like the wider nut width--great for finger play. Congratulations. I look forward to your review.

Thanks, all! Evan, I think it's the most beautiful guitar I've owned. And yes...I do have a matching nylon coming, too...

Elementary;

That is double good. Will both guitars have the ebony veneer? What pickups are you using? Kirk Sand uses the Barbera for his Mahogany thin-bodied electric. I have the Barbera in my 7 electric and have been very happy with it. It's active and has volume and tone controls. Whatever you get for electronics, I suspect you'll find the guitars to be keepers.

Hey Evan,

Yes, they will be matching Ebony. Slightly different straight striped patterns. I went with the Anthem for both, since I use the Anthem when I lead worship and the sound guy says it's great. I think it sounds great. I know many here don't like it.

Sometimes it seems that there are as many pickups as there are guitars--an indication of varied taste and great options.
