Yes and as you see the gate was locked...sigh.. there were 2 Steinways for mr to play... ...a big grand in the photo at a house up on the hill.... and a Baby Grand at the lodge just down the road... or driveway ... nice

Great photos - as always! I particularly like the of the guitar on the picnic table (deck?) in the setting (assumed) sun that makes the honeycomb pop! Sorry we couldn't make a meet-up work. Looks like your trip was good. You had some good weather.

As for the comment about the young lady might not having heard of Jimi Hendrix - I remember my daughter (now 27) several years back coming home from college all excited after having heard this song called Purple Haze by some guy named Jimi Hendrix. "Have you heard of that guy, dad?" she asks. "Yes, Rebecca, everyone's heard of Jimi Hendrix."

Even funnier was the reaction from my son - a year and a half younger than his sister - with an incredulous look on his face and shaking his head saying to her, "You're dead to me." Of course this is the kid that fully embraced dad's music so much he now has a Led Zeppelin tattoo on his arm.

That model playing lefty is my niece Anna... an amazing athlete ... she is lefty but doesn’t play...yet... her sister’s wedding is main reason I was in Vermont.
