Bought my first Telecaster in 1964 from Earnie himself. He was an unknown then - had a small guitar shop on Ventura Blvd. The Tele was an old beat up 52 that rang forever. Sold it for $175 along with a nice Fender Pro Tweed amp when I joined the Air Force in 1966. What a mistake! So, every time I hear or see "Earnie Ball" can't help but kick myself.

The 3 for $10 deals at GC got me to try the Earthwood 80/20’s. No complaints at all.

I currently have a set of Earthwood 80/20's on my Martin OM. After about a month, they still sound and play great. I just ordered some Earthwood PB's and I'm looking forward to trying those out, too. For a relatively inexpensive string, I think Earthwoods are really good.

I've used Ernie Ball Earthwood strings many times. They're good strings.

I like the Earthwoods a lot and they are priced right.
