CEO7 Mediums

For those of us who own these guitars, I took the action slightly down and am using Martin Flexcore mediums for a change. I thought it would choke the top...it did not. My wife said that my newer one sounded louder than my older one (which has lights on it). That is the opposite of what they are when they both have lights. Martin says it is OK. I don't like mediums but if they ride low....I do. I use my guitars in drop tunings a lot and I like a fairly low action...gets them sloppy with lights....very nice with mediums. FWIW
