Shopping Therapy
As many may know, this year has been one of my worst. To bring my spirits up a bit, I did something on impulse, I just ordered a used Yamaha FG800 from GuitarCenter. I already have a nice dread (Taylor 110) , but the price was good, and I am feeling down, so I said what the heck. I know it will lift me up for a short time only, but that didn't stop me from buying it. Anyone else do this?

Yep, been an off week for me also and have been scanning the guitar sites. Just haven't pulled the trigger yet.

Hey, AE
While I don't suffer from excessive GAS by any means, I've bought a guitar or two (too good to pass up) that probably qualified as a "pick me up", and I can't remember when I've had as tough a year as you've been thru... Don't sweat it too much, and hang in there...

Yes, I have done some shopping therapy when going through a tough patch. Yes, I have purchased a guitar on impulse. Yes, I have purchased a guitar this week (a Chinese made Guild 12 string, model 1512).
