Thank you. The idea was to play long arpeggios that would go "around the world". Very corny for sure...

I don't like to tune my guitar too often so the tuning is the same as we discussed offline -- EbBbDFBbF.
Thanks Mau.

Thanks Steve.

I tried to actually write something rather than pseudo improvising like I often do. I found inspiration in playing minor chords in a major tuning as it forced me to use different phrasing.

Hi Mau, I'm late to the party but I just watched your video. You never cease to grab my full attention with your playing and the melodies. Just an amazing piece.

I felt I was back on a cliff in Nova Scotia watching and listening to the waves come in (for those who don't know, ocean waves are very loud as they crash the shore).

Keep the songs coming, Mau!

What a lovely piece and lovely performance, Mau! That was just stunningly good. Beautifully melodic and full of interesting twists. Wow!

Thanks for reviving this old thread, Dru...

I can walk to the St. Lawrence river but I've never had a close encounter with the Atlantic ocean. I'll have to give it a go sometime!
