Although there are other sources for info, which I appreciate you mentioning, there are a few folks here who are very knowledgable and have been extremely helpful. I will also do some research where you recommended, thanks!

No... you didn't miss you're opportunity!! It's easily switched. I'm too far away from the studio to tell you exactly how to switch it. It's easy though...I've done it back and forth. I'll get back to you tomorrow if you don't find it.

H-O-W-E-V-E-R you should read up on the pro's and con's of the why fore's before switching.

What are you looking to gain by going 64 bit?? Logic 64 bit mode's primary advantage is how it handles memory. Are you having memory problems???

Yup there are very knowledgeable ppl here and I didn't mean anything negative toward them. I was just suggesting a place that fixed my problems over the years. You can search almost any problem and the problem has been answered there.

Sorry if I was out of place.

No, not at all! I appreciate your suggestion. Thanks!

Joseph, honestly, I am not sure what the pros and cons are for one version over the other. So far, I have had no problems with the 32 bit version. I am open to any information you may have to help me make the best decision. Granted, I could have searched this information elsewhere, but my time has been very limited. Anyway, I highly regard any thoughts you may have on this.

Thanks!

64 bit processing (at least for DAW's) primarily addresses how the software, in your case Logic, addresses memory. Folks who do production of any kind that rely of memory based plug-in's like Omnisphere, Trilogy, Stylus RMX and samplers like Kontakt, Sample Tank, Mach 5 and even Exs24 stand to see significant gains in 64 bit over 32 bit.

The catch is right now many plug-in manufactures have been slow to port to the 64 bit architecture. For recording several acoustic guitars tracks won't see any significant improvement yet.

Stay at 32 bit for now

I have had many questions and have got many many answers here.

The guy who runs the site is David he is know all be all logic.

He usually personally answers questions.

Sorry I am no teacher and logic is so vast that being in a dedicated logic forum is the perfect place for a new logic user to be.

Just a suggestion.
just to add to the references, here is a link to the apple discussions on logic. quite knowledgable people there also.
