ZOOM ZH4N Question
Can I plug a guitar with a passive pick-up (K&K) into the 1/4" input and record guitar through that and voice through the internal mics at the same time?
Thanks

Sure. This is a case where a preamp might work better, tho. I believe the input impedance of the Zoom is spec'd at 480K ohms. You probably won't hear any big difference, but that's a bit lower than ideal.

Thanks - Impedance matching is almost always an issue - but I think my friend will be OK - he's not using it to make a CD. Any idea what happens if I connect his guitar with only the K&K mini to my Trinity pre-amp (that I use for my K&K mini+mic)? Does it act as a pre-amp for the mini only?
