Take Me Home, Country Roads, cover
I was asked recently to cover this song by one of my YouTube subscribers. I have always enjoyed the original recorded version of this song -- the harmony, the lead guitar work, John Denver's Travis picking. So I decided to cover the song in a similar way. For the harmony, I asked my grand daughter, Emma, if she would help me, and so Emma joins me on this video. Emma just turned 15 years old. I hope you like this -- thanks for listening! - Glenn

Ah, Glenn that was special!! Loved it!!! I presume you and Emma will be appearing in concert in the near future....I need tickets!
 This one strikes a chord pun intended) with me.........as I'm hoping to coax my own grand daughter (12) to join me in something with guitar/ukulele in the fall for some recording, so I"ve been inspired by this one tonight! Thanks, Fred

She even pointed out that I had actually sung an incorrect note so that her harmony was not going to work against this wrong note. So, we had to change her harmony to make it work with what I had sung. I was totally unaware. I told her that her pitch is so good that she makes me sound good! - Glenn
