Default PSA Rx Elements on sale

iZotope has its Rx Elements on sale for $29. Although it is destructive editing, it has some great tools. You can catch a good deal to upgrade to Rx Standard later on down the road (I did).

Thanks for this - I've been thinking about getting it for podcast production for a while.

Now I just need to keep my eyes open for the discounted upgrade to Standard!

Thanks for PSA, Barry. Sounds like the thing recommended to me recently. Or maybe not...anyone know if the above is the same product as this (if below link works?)

Frank, no that's not the same thing. Ozone 9 is an eq'ing thing. Rx Elements is for editing. (Noise removal, gain adjustments, hum and click removal, etc)

I have Rx Standard (upgraded from Elements) and Ozone 8 which does the eq matching from reference files and also has many presets for eq'ing.

RX is for noise(s) while Ozone is for what I'd call "pseudo-mastering," so are for different jobs. Both are pretty limited compared to the full versions ($$), but might be all some folks need.

I haven't used the Elements products but have been using the standard versions of both for some years.

Thanks Barry and Keith. I was hoping there would be some overlap in the products, but I get it now.

<<pseudo-mastering.>>
Heh, heh, which may be my highest practical potential.
